Johnny Cash, the Aristotelian

Gotta give Johnny-Dee (of Fides Quaerens Intellectum) some credit for his synthesis of similar themes in the music of Johnny Cash and Aristotle’s Nichomachean Ethics. I personally am not surprised that such a treatment was possible – the language of virtue ethics in Western culture is often quite pervasive – but seeing a discussion of the philosophical themes of any work of art, especially an artist like Cash, that avoids being too technical or analytical is refreshing.
